- Screws onto transmitter stud
Do not tighten with pliers or apply any form of glue directly to the antenna thread or stud. Doing so will make the antenna impossible to remove and may result in breaking off the antenna stud completely.
After fitting the new antenna (finger tight only) apply a small drop of clear nail varnish to the exterior of the antenna where it meets the transmitter body. This will form a seal that should prevent the antenna from unscrewing during use but can be broken easily at a later date.
